2020-2022: The Beng Library

In 2020, we were asked to help fund a library for the Beng School. This project was located in Beng Province, on the grounds of the Beng Schoolhouse. We partnered with another 501(c)3, and the project was managed by the Trailblazers USA--an NGO on the ground in Siem Reap. By the early Spring of 2021, we had raised enough funds for the construction to begin. The project cost was $30,000, and construction took 6 months. The children in this rural village never had books before. When the library was completed, it was stocked with over 1,000 for the 500 schoolchildren who attend the Beng School.
